I’ve been to Paris four times now, and each visit still surprises me. But your first time visit to Paris? That one is sacred. You want to do it right. Not rushed, not over-scheduled, not standing in...
Hey there! I'm Lori and welcome to my midlife travel blog
Let me tell you a little bit about myself-
I live in a small town in Wisconsin and am a children's book author, mom, wife, and...
I FREAKING love to travel...
I didn't discover exactly how much until I was in my 40s. That was when I took my dream trip to Paris, and it changed my life. Travel lit me up, gave me confidence, opened doors that I never thought were possible, and introduced me to people I never would have met otherwise.
Ask anyone who knows me how much I love to talk about travel, the places I've been, the food I've eaten, and the stories I pick up along the way. It's hard to shut me up!
That's where this little midlife travel blog, Lori Loves Adventure comes in. It's a travel guide, it's travel inspiration, it's my travel stories. I am committed to encouraging and inspiring midlife women to travel as a way to rock the second half of life.
What are you waiting for? Let's go on an adventure.

Last fall, I sat in a small café with a warm mug between my hands and watched Paris wake up. A shopkeeper swept the sidewalk. A dog trotted by like it owned the street. Nothing was urgent, and that...
