This is the spot where Sheboygan gets its “Malibu of the Midwest” nickname from. When the winds pick up, primarily from September to April, surfing enthusiasts can be seen riding the freshwater waves of Lake Michigan here. Also south of the city center, you can watch kite surfers at King Park.
